Lava Iris Fuel F1 With 4000mAh Battery Launched at Rs. 8,700

Lava has launched the Iris Fuel F1 smartphone, the bigger sibling of
 its Iris Fuel F1 Mini which was launched last month.

Priced at Rs. 8,700, the Lava Iris Fuel F1 is now listed on the company's
site with pricing details. Though, no availability details are available at the
time of writing. We can expect the company to announce the launch of the
 Iris Fuel F1 in the coming days.

The Lava Iris Fuel F1 - like other members of the Iris Fuel series of smartphones
- sports a large battery, a 4000mAh battery in this case, which is perhaps the
 highlight of the device. It will be competing against the likes of the Intex Aqua
 Power II and the recently unveiled Micromax Canvas Juice 3. The handset
will also be up against the Karbonn Aura 9, which features the same battery capacity.

The dual-SIM Lava Iris Fuel F1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch
FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display with 196ppi pixel density. The new Lava
smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Sporting an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Lava Iris Fuel F1 also
features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 8GB of built-in storage
 that is expandable via microSD card (32GB). Connectivity options include
3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS,
and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Measuring 141x72x9.5mm, the Iris Fuel F1 weighs 148 grams and is rated to
deliver up to 20 days of standby time and up to 30 hours of talk time. It bears
an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
